608 Bearings & Spacers

Most wheelchair front caster bearings are the standard 608 size widely used in roller skates, inline skates etc. This has an 8mm bore, a 22mm diameter and 7mm wide. They are usually made of chrome steel, but stainless steel, titanium and silicon nitride (ceramic) can also be used. Bearings usually contain seven steel or ceramic ball bearings, but some systems use more.
